We identified that the custom report data point library was slowing down due to in-memory caching, especially as data grew. This approach caused delays, especially as data volume increased.
To address this, we refactored the data loading mechanism. Data points are now fetched directly from the database, eliminating the dependency on cache layers. As a result, performance has improved significantly — with load times now up to 10x faster.
We’ve resolved the issue when navigating to the Dashboard Library tab and opening a dashboard, and no data would load. The Dashboard Library can now be opened and used independently, with all dashboards loading their data correctly.
This improves the experience and flexibility for you accessing dashboards directly from that tab.
